Default First wrx

Hi everyone!! I'm now in the position to by my first wrx, I've had a bug eye gx..few cars in between now driving 1.5r hatch!! Love subarus but never been able to juggle mortgage wife kids and run a wrx, but now at the age I can do so (28)!!! I'm going for a blob eye being the cheaper tax!! I'm looking to spend around the £5k mark around 70k mikes!!! Can anyone say what service needs done around then as I haven't a log book to hand, my gx needed a new clutch which I heard was going to be expensive and cambelt change, so I sold it, I think it was around 70k when I got rid of mine!!! Any advice would be hugely gratefull!!!! Cheers

I think the belt shoud be at the 60kish service or 5 years and the clutch will depend on its previous owners driving style and luck. Just been reading the two engine post with interest.
Buy wisely, look carefully at mods as they will give you an idea of the type of previous keeper. If its got a load of the cheapest low quality mods fitted its proberbly been maintained on a shoe string. If they've forked out on quality then that's a good clue. Look at the car as much as the history.
Happy hunting.
