Am I being stupid - vacuum tubing bore size

I ordered Samco silicone vacuum tubing from Demon Tweeks and in the selection process it asks for "Bore size". So I select 5mm.

I get delivered tubing that is 5mm ext dia and 2.5 in internal dia- what I would have called bore size!?

Am I being stupid or is the sites configuration wrong?

no you are not being stupid. someone at demon tweeks needs reaming with said tubing, it's allways sold by bore size
