Default Gap size between calliper and wheel?

I have just fitted K-Sport front callipers to my car, also had my wheels painted(not sure how much paint was actually put on them).
Pushed the car out of the garage and some of the paint has been removed from the inside of the wheel due to contact with the callipers(Outside face that reads K-sport).
Could this be due to the amount of paint on the wheels or do I need spacers?

I would say get the wheels off and have a look at just how much paint has come off. I seen another thread where someone was concerned about how close the wheel was but general consensus was if its not touching then it never will no matter how small the gap is!

My Godspeed big brake kit moved the callipers to within a hair of the wheels........they spun round with no noises and they were no problem. Nobody else had problems either.

I'd be more worried about the arch rusting !

Cheers Shaun. I'm going to rub down the paint on the inside of the wheels and see how it looks.
No need to worry about the rusty arches as I have 2 replacement wings to go on
