Default 250 miles to a tank. Quite surprised

Got a classic sti with 320bhp last week. A full tank gave me 250 miles which I was quite happy with considering I have been out enjoying after not having a Scooby for a few years now. I think I only managed 250 to Wales once off boost the whole way and my other stis used to give me about 200 miles mixed driving.

Now to work out the mpg used to get 40mpg in my clio cup.

Regardless of how you drive these cars you'll get majorly ****ty fuel consumption.

I once managed 350 miles out of my Cosworth but I was running it in

I nearly always fill up after about 250 miles - depending upon how much fun I've had will depend on whether the fuel light is on or whether I have about an 1/8th of a tank left

That seems about right, I have had my bug for over 9 years between 215 to 350 hp and had 200 to 250 out of a tank depending on my right foot av 230.
A Scooby is about fun per mile .

I just filled up at 200miles on the nose. Put 44litres in I think so would have made 250 at a push... Just!

I get 33 on a run and as little as 20 if I get too excited but the average is about 28 pootling around town, which will probably change as she's coming to croatia and the roads here beg to be driven.

Probably a bit late now, but you can use Tesco's Momentum as well - it's 99 RON.

I'm not sure but I think classics have 50-litre tanks?

Have an enjoyable trip !

I figured on a long sensible run I can get 100miles ish per quarter. That was on a Germany to uk trip.

I regard high 20s as good, seeing as that's the best I can hope to get out of either of my cars on a good day!
