Default WRX300 How to tell?

Good evening folks,

I am looking to buy a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX. I phoned for some insurance quotes tonight (500 squid ) and I was told the car shows up as a WRX300...
It has the 215/45/17 wheels on it, but the cars grey with black seats (no blue or grey bolsters)

Did Subaru ever make a grey WRX300 does anyone know?

What are some other differences between the normal WRX and the WRX300

Thanks!

Martin

That's interesting, that's the same info I found but in the second link it states "available in blue mica" which means other colours may have been produced. The solid black colour seats are rather strange also. And it has the bogo twin pipe exhaust lol.

I have a wrx300. They were only available in blue with gold wheels and should have the black with blue inlay seats. Comes with the ppp as standard, 261 bhp.

I have a 2003 wrx. It shows up as uk300 on hpi and insurance.
it is not a uk300. Not sure why this happens. Just told insurance it was wrong and they took my word for it. Dont know if its any cheaper tho.

This is what happened when I phoned, will have to ring back and change it, hopefully it doesn't increase the premium! lol

Thanks!
