Default Blobeye STI rear lights?

So I want to upgrade my Bugeye UK300 rear lights to the STi Blobeye rears!

Few questions do they wire straight in?
Do I need to change my rear bumper as it looks like the STI rears have a circular rear light and a half circle cut into the top of the rear bumper, which the Bugeye doesn't have.

Thanks

I couldn't answer the wiring question mate, but you definitely have to change the rear bumper because of the circular part on the blob lights.

you don't need to change bumper as adam (knotty)has the blob rear lights in his bug, best ask him for advice.

Don't have to change the bumper just pull the black bit of rubber off behind the bit that hangs over the bumper

How can this be though? Blob lights have a circular lense which sits in the bumper, hence why the blob bumper has a bit cut out of it to accommodate this?

Just done this mod myself, I'm changing the bumper as you can notice the round bit sticking out. Not too noticeable but i know it's there.

Plug and play, but if you have uk then jdm lights are more of a problem because of the fog light
