Default Is this a fair price ?

Thinking of trading in the 2001 bug for a 2005 Wrx UK300 PPP with 48000 miles and 5 service stamps (cambelt change with the last service). Its advertised at £7,495. Is this around the going rate ?.

I'd say it seems a good price, but then a good price is one that properly reflects the condition of the car.

It would certainly have me thinking though, if I was in the market for one.

Good luck hunting.

Blob WRX 300 doesn't really count as a special edition..........They just wanted to shift cars.

Don't even think it should start with a 5........

You're probably right Shaun, I know I wouldn't want to give in the 5's for it if I was buying it for myself.

Im guessing its at a dealers which would ofcourse bump the price up a touch, and the miles/history are good. Taking that into consideration its worth a bit more than most but its still just a WRX in a frock.
If he's asking near 8K for it then its never going to come for a reasonable price, just walk away now.

As above, walk away, you can get a standard low miles blob WRX for less than £4k with change to make it go to 350bhp and still have money left over, or if your after that look £7.5k is Blob STI money.

Defiantly not worth it i saw UK300 blobs for sale cheaper then my Bug UK300!
For that money I would be looking at a STI Blob or a nice clean WRX for around £4k

My apologies.

Having seen some posts I've checked. I looked at STi's for whatever reason, and posted on that basis.
The others who've posted and said its overpriced are in the real world and correct.

Sorry about that.

Yep, thats a much better buy. I would think your theory of part KM part miles is correct.
