Can you tell from these pics if my 96 Sti has a pollen filter ??

As above.
I can't find it and some people say that some classics don't have them.

I don't think any classic Impreza ever had a pollen filter ,think they were first introduced on the Bugeye.

I know the newage cars have one behind the glove box so may be worth checking there just in case

If its got one its not in the same place as the Newage one. On my bug the Bottom left corner of the second picture is the section that's a flat cover laying parallel with the floor and fixed on with a few screws and cover the cabin filter.
