Default turbo timer

Can anyone give me some advice on getting a turbo timer for my wrx 04 plate

Yeah don't bother!! Just drive the last 10mins of the journey off boost simple!!

I agree , don't bother they are more hassle than there worth , they can affect your alarm and immobiliser if wired up wrong and you end up annoying your neighbours at 2am with your engine running . Just stay off boost the last 5 minutes of your journey, simples!

Doesn't even need to be the last 10 mins, just take it steady for the last mile and your fine. Nobody drives on the edge all the way to their drive anyway.

As above. Biggest gimmick and waste of time and money going. Drive last mile like you would anyway and it be fine.

I actually bought one in an ebay moment of madness.
It sat in my draw for about 3 months before eventually giving it away.

Thanks this is pretty much what I figured as they don't come with them but after speaking to a mechanic he put that seed of doubt in my mind

I only use mine in winter to get car warmed up

So a toy which is designed to save a turbo (unsuccessfully i might add) is being used to increase wear on your engine

I sent the timer for just 5 mins only and in winter should be ok ? Or is it time for me to bin it ?

Probably but most engine wear occurs from cold so a car sat ticking over will peeling the warmup period!
