Default new clutch??

Hi guys

I just need some advice please, when I accelerate hard in 5th gear the car revs high and speed stays the same, stupid question but is this the clutch slipping? If so how much roughly is this going to cost me to replace I'm only running just over 300 bhp so was thinking to stay standard or would you recommend me upgrading the clutch/flywheel
Cheers

Yup, classic clutch slip

Pink Exedy £255, Flywheel skim exchange £80, Labour £180ish, £15 Rear Main Oil Seal (worth doing )

You could fit a lower rated clutch but the Pink is very good for 300bhp cars as you tend to creep forward in power rather than back You could get a LWFW but obviously thats gonna be £200 instead of £80

Cheers for the info , I did think it was the clutch , it did well though nearly 90k on the original clutch , not too bad hey! Didn't need it though just before my holiday.
