Just found out that there is a new car ferry service from Zeebrugge to Rosyth!

I am not exactly in the same boat (sic) as you, but I think that I'm going to use this service for a return trip in August to come home for a driving holiday.

Anyone used them yet?

www.superfast.com

PS. 17.5hrs overnight is not what I'd call s u p e r f a s t but I suppose that 30mph-ish over the waves isn't too bad.

Not tried that one - used Amsterdam to Newcastle though which was fairly handy.

DFDS Seaways (as in recent Engine fire )....sister ship of the one I went on.

Cheers. I didn't know that Newcastle was an option.

I have used Hull before but fancy the idea of arriving in the Firth of Forth - bypassing al those horrid cameras on the Coldstream road too.

Started last week - they cruise at 29 knots apparently. Look pretty swish, well for a ferry anyway
