Default European breakdown cover bargain.

A neighbour of mine does a lot of traveling abroad in his landrover,he has always used the AA as he is a member,to add 14 days European cover was costing him £170.
He has looked into getting cover from some foreign companies and found this little gem,a german company called ADAC has told him that they will give him 12 months breakdown cover for £70 anywhere in Europe including Britain of course(AA price for just recovery to home and no extras is £110 including a ten year loyalty discount)and to top it all,if he breaks down here its the AA who will recover him.
Deffinately worth trying in my opinion and if it works for breakdown cover, what about insurance?i think some research is needed, give it a go

That sounds about right, bloody foreigners driving on our roads(which makes them a higher risk of crashing)for cheaper than us
My uncle who moved to spain, tried to get insured on his car over here and was refused by british insurers as too much of a risk,he was a traffic cop most of his life and was thames valleys chief road safety officer
