Default Advice needed on bugeye impreza's....

Afternoon all,

Iv been off the scene for a while, and have been driving a Nissan skyline.

The time has come to jump back in a scooby.

I'm thinking of trading with a friend for his bugeye, bug I'm not 100% sure what it is, and how to gain more power.

It's a 2002 Wrx Sti Prodrive on the log book, (its a uk model) but is a uk car. I beleive it's probably a wrx sti type uk, it has a red inlet manifold, Sti written on the top mount and a certificate from prodrive.

What I'm after is a brief run down of what it should have, what power etc and what I can do to increase the power.

It's been a while since iv had a subaru, I know gc8's like the back of my hand, but very little about bigeyes.

Thank you

By the sounds of it sounds like a prodrive style .
265 bhp as standard it's basically a styling pack.
I've had mine ten years and with decent exhaust remap and fuel pump you're looking at 330 - 335 without much fuss.they are the more desirable bug eyes and good value for money .

Yes they are well mappable denso are the ones fitted as standard I think.
Sounds like you have Ppp yes.
I've had no problems with mine at all great cars .
