Well, they just quoted me £1614 for my 330S.
Unmodified, full no claims, no accidents/convictions and no points.
To put that in perspective, I'm currently paying about £460

My renewal came the other day, £1300, 5 years no claims, I've just turned 30 with no points or previous convictions. I'm convinced it's a postcode lottery.

I worked for a motor insurer, its all postcodes and crime stats.
My postcode means I pay nearly £700 at 49, if I move to say Grimsby the bill goes down dramatically. What joy

Ive not had a sensible offer ever, insurance companies just make it up as they go along as far as im concerned,i was told that my quote had doubled because I live in an area where a high number of whiplash claims are being made, so do I have to pay for them?

Just spoke to Greenlight who gave me a quote of under £800 which is nearly half of the renewal Admiral sent me.

Between insurance and running costs, it's no surprise so many are now getting broken!
