i used around 50ft for my downpipe/up-pipe
downpipe was 3" diameter and it replaced both cats in the system after the turbo
i used this stuff

Think I'll get some too, I've bought an STi Up pipe but the welds on the lower and upper heat shields have gone, so i'll cut them off and wrap it before it goes on the car!

I used just shy of 25m on my headers, up pipe and downpipe but I was thorough and used around 25 extra long metal ties (ebay) as the short ones dont reach and you have to double them up.
