Hi guys my blobeye sti doesnt feel same when I first got it it use to pull very well I put cat back on it was still good then a panel filter still fine then I put tescos momentum in and playing up since then so had full service done new plus new fuel filter and still same had a diagnostic done showed wastegate selinoid clead code and never came back no engine management light on can it just be im use to car now and need more power or can you think of any thing that could be wrong

 

Have you checked the waste gate solenoid to see if it is at fault?

 

I havent looked at it mate a fault code come up but hasnt since a few weeks ago check all boost and vac pipes they seem fine is there any way to test it to see it working ?

 

Firstly, get a boost gauge rigged up and check what the boost level is. IIRC standard should be around 1.2 bar (just under 18psi)
Momentum usually works fine in the STi

Will try sort one erm all I know is its 260 bhp so not a clue on boost level and my mitsi was fine on momentum but the scoob really sp a t uts dummy out can any onr think of owt else that could play it up ie fuel pump maybe maf sensor even tho there aint a fault code
