Looks like it was a police car
put the reg in google and got pics of the car "in uniform"

i have here my subaru impreza wrx sti ppp. selling due to my misses being pregnant and says it aint a practical family car. it is ex humberside police so been really looked after i have history print out. very rare in white.few dings and stone chips.12 month mot 6 month tax. had new brake pads all round and comes with spare alloy wheel. really powerful car and nice drive any questions please ask. please contact for viewing. cash on collection. advertised elsewhere so can be removed at anytime. forgot to mention the car had brand new engine fitted at 57k so has only covered 35k and was done by police.

I would not by an ex police car,you can imagine how much of a thrashing they must get,can you imagine them getting a call to stop a stolen car,and saying sorry guv the scoobys not warm yet it will have to wait or when they have stopped a car that they have been chasing for miles,and asking the suspect if he would mind not running off again whilst the Scooby cools down

I bought an ex police engine that had 106k on the clock (3.0 V6 omega) and they ARE thrashed to hell. You could tell!
I had to re-hone the bores and fit oversized rings to get decent compression. Changed the bottom end bearings and stem seals as a matter of course. I would say the engines are well looked after though, Vauxhall V6 engines rarely see that mileage without being properly tended to, although I can't say the same for the rest of the car. Looked like it had been cartwheeled! Lol
