I've been charged a couple of payments for £18 just lately and was very pissed off so I cancelled my PayPal.

Speak to admin.
I had an issue a couple of years ago where I was being charged twice every month. I don't think I got a refund but they explained how to sort it. I needed to contact paypal and cancel one of the subscriptions as two had been processed instead of one.

SN is not here to thieve off people. They don't go and take the money, it's something that happens with your paypal account, that you need to make sure you cancel. As for being ignored, I'm sure that was an oversight and not a deliberate attempt to keep your money. Try Stu on the link I posted above to see if he can sort it now.

Personally I don't know as I've never done it myself, but it is somewhere within your paypal settings. Maybe someone else reading this thread that has done this could advise you.

If admin don't sort it why not open a Pay Pal dispute to refund what has been overcharged

It hasn't technically been overcharged. People aren't checking their own paypal settings and as a result, extra payments are being taken. This is not SN taking them, this is PP giving them automatically. To stop this from happening, the person needs to go into their PP settings and cancel any

To those needing a refund, contact Stu either via PM or direct e mail (both there in the link a few posts up) and I'm sure he'll sort things out from that side of things. Sometimes just going through the 'contact us' link, messages get missed, so contacting directly may be the better option.

For more detail regarding these recurring payments, see the link below:

Its strange how so many people are/have been charged twice etc, all for the same thing. Surely not everybody concerned has made the same error. Ive never been overcharged for any thing else on paypal, only sccobynet.
