2004 Blobeye WRX STI PPP - More Power
Hello! I've recently bought one of these cars and whilst I an enjoying it.. I'm missing the straight line speed I've had from my other cars.
If I were to spend say 2-2.5k on the car, what power figure could I realistically expect?
Also, can you please point me in the right direction of parts/tuners required to make this happen.
Bonus points if they are from Northern Ireland/Ireland.
Thanks,
Philip.

The best and first thing your could do is get a new 2.5 inch exhaust from the cat back (or de cat it as well), a good panel filter/induction kit, walbro fuel pump and a remap which should see you to around about 330 bhp.
But what car have you got? Year and model?

2.5k is new turbo money, which "unleashes" 400bhp potential.
Your current turbo (VF35 I think) is doing well at 350bhp, edge cases known to be beyond that. You can maximize that potential with full decat, fuel pump and remap (possibly a FMIC too?) but I think £1k is a solid budget (particularly if you go for an Open Source remap and second hand exhaust parts) to reasonably max out the VF35.
For a further 1-1.5k you can add something like a SC38 which will see your engine comfortably close to 400bhp.
Beyond 400bhp you need to start upgrading expensive bits.

I'll say it before others do though, suspension improvements are probably worth considering before hosting 400bhp. The Brembo's are pretty capable though with some decent discs/pads/hoses.

Induction kit will give you nothing at all, just a bigger hole in your wallet.
