Default Rain X on the rear window?

For some reason my new Blobeye seems to collect water on the rear window much more than my old Hawkeye did and its a royal pain.

Has anyone tried Rain X purely for the rear?

It's part of my usual wash routine, reapply it every couple of months.

It's not as effective as on the front, because you're not getting the air pushing the water off unless reversing really fast everywhere!

Agreed. It always seems to sit in the middle and streak in a curved pattern. The upper vane makes no difference either. Why, oh why only JDM's got as back wiper I will never know. Wish mine had one.

Years ago I drove a demo Ford Orion with a back wiper. Almost as useful as the Heated screen! Mind you, you can get one of these for a Scooby now.

Never once in my whole driving career even needed a rear wiper. Had them on one of my first cars and had it removed, removed it on my second car and my
UK scooby doesn't have one.

I do this, and it helps more with condensation with rain.

I'm seriously considering get the JDM parts to convert it!

I rain ex the front and front two widows. But just use auto glym fast glass (other cleaners are available) on the others. As been said. You dont have the wind pushing the water away. But thats just my opinion !!!!

Is fast glass any good? I've always used RainX, but I'm prepare to try the "other brands" lol

AG Fast Glass is very good but it's a cleaner rather than a treatment. I use the AG glass polish too.

Yeah its good, i polish the rear window and rear quarter windows with AG glass polish about once a month. Then use fast glass just to spruce them up. Make sure you give the windscreen a good clean, i use the rain X window cleaner for this and use a stanly blade to help remove bugs, rabbits and deer lol wipe it down and apply rain X about once a month. Dont forget to give your wiper blades a clean aswell
