Hi guys, Iv had my blobeye for about 4 years now. My main headlight bulbs only last about a year. Is this normal? Anyone else have the same with there car or has mine got a problem? Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks mate, sometimes I have to ask the seemingly obvious as is often asked of me!
It's unusual for headlamp bulbs to blow after a year, however, their quality control really varies, according to Auto Express who regularly review headlight bulbs.
I've never had problems with Nirva Cobalt 2 bulbs, (high quality inexpensive bulb), I've used PIAA's, (too expensive really), also used Philips Xtreme Vision, Osrams, and currently got Raybriggs from Japan which Ive had for 2 years now, all without issues. I have in the past on previous cars had occasions where a bulb has blown twice in a year, but I put it down to a bad bulb rather than an issue with my car's electrics.
Hope this helps,
Greg
