Default TD05

Hello

What is a reasonable price to pay for a TD05 front entry, Im looking to upgrade from my TD04 on my bug wagon. Looking to break the 300 mark. I am aware of the other parts i will need. Just trying to gauge a price for the turbo.

£125 isn't out of the way for a good condition nicely converted 16G thats for sure.

I've got a front entry 16g up for sale if you're interested?

Made a solid 337 hp on my bugeye WRX and was only removed because I fitted a AFP 20g

I'm after one at the moment too.

I was going to buy a 90 entry and convert it as it doesn't seem that much of a job?

I'd let it go for £125, it's a genuine good quality 16g. Here's a picture of it against my 20g, it will include an actuator:

Looks nice and clean. I think I will pass at the minute and let one of the other lads have it. Think I will concentrate on some dodgy paintwork first.

Tried to PM you bengo but your inbox is full.

Interested in the turbo, do you know how many miles are on it roughly? Also how has it been converted? Is it welded or pressed in?

If you could PM me that would be great.

Scotty,

I need to export my PMs to clear my box, I'll sort it this evening.

The inlet has been welded on, it was on mine for about 7,000 miles and was taken off a 60k mile car before. There is virtually no play in the shaft (you always get a tiny bit with TDs) and no cracks in the exhaust housing.

You're in Hampshire, if you are near Fareham you're more than welcome to come and have a look.

quick question. I have a td05-16g front entry but need a new actuator. Can I use one from a td04 or VF series turbo or does it have to be a td05? thanks
