Default Best wheel nuts AGAIN...

Looking to buy some decent nuts in either gunmetal or black

No alloy rubbish unless top notch and also where would you recommend purchasing them from please chaps

Thinking either CDF titanium, RAYS maybe, Project MU is it? Looking about £150 budget really

Cheers people

I've not used them myself but I do like the look of the tpi ( I think) nuts, revolution sell them but you'll probably already know more about them than I do haha.

I went with Gorilla small diameter lug nuts from the States

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/gor-21123bc

but if had the sum you talking would have pushed the boat out for the VOLK RAYS FORMULA WHEELS LOCK LUG NUTS

http://www.lugshack.com/RAYS_ENGINEE...olkform125.htm

the rays do look the business but as you can see my budget was not in that league

Not bothered about the weight as you can loose as much taking a large dump. I just want something that isn't going to strip the threads and definitely not rust. Bought a set of muteki wheel nuts about 8 months back for just under £90 and they have rusted beyond belief!
Which Rays did you go for and please recommend where to get them as I'm very worried about all the fake rubbish knocking around which I'm fairly sure the mentioned muteki nuts may be...

I've bought these Muteki but in red, and really good quality for the money

Unlike other eBay set I bought lost colour and flaked.

Rays Duraluminium nuts on mine, they were anodised red at one point but started to come off as the previous owner used something nasty to clean his wheels with but I stripped them back to one colour.

May seem the obvious answer but why don't you just paint the ones you already have?

Didn't think of that.
I have pink Duraluminium ones that used to be red so replaced them with gunmetal Duraluminium. I still have the pink ones in my shed so might strip them back, what process did you use?

Are posh nuts just for dressing or do they serve a purpose?
