Exhaust Fitter - South East London/Essex area
hi
i was wondering if you could recommend a good exhaust fitter in the south east london/essex area...got a turbo back exhaust to fit to the car and would prefer to take it to someone who knows subaru's as opposed to a local garage who hasnt worked on them before.
called a couple of places and got some very high prices..to the point where its more expensive to fit the exhaust then what i paid for it.
any help would be great thanks

i agree if its catback..just thought as its a downpipe/decat maybe best to take to a subaru garage or a garage to that effect. not sure how fiddly it is to remove the old downpipe and replace with a new stainless one.
looking forward to it being fitted

Hello mate, if it is just a cat back, I will happily help you fit it on my driveway for free. I enjoy the company. If it is turbo back, ideally I would contact Mike at Cyclone Motorsport in Wickford. Very good friend of mine who builds retro cars. He will typically charge around 50 if there is no drama with the turbo bolts or around 100 if there is drama. He will probably charge less as it is child's play to him.

Turbo to downpipe gasket will remain the same size regardless of downpipe bore. The gasket has to fit on the turbo studs which remains the same. More often than not this is reusable
