Err, Proflex if you want to spend £7,000 per corner and service them every 3 stages...

BC for value for money.

think your going to need to give us a little more info on what your looking for?

Ohlins or KW if your looking at top end kit or as above the BC seem good value for money!

id avoid buying off the shelf to be honest. there's UK based manufacturers who are willing to do custom valving and spring rates based on your needs at very reasonable cost.

i had gaz build me a gold pro/ standard hybrid kit with short arms and long travel for my mx5- price wise it was somewhere between the off the shelf standard and pro kits . i had to wait for the build but having compared it to other kits it gave an excellent b-road ride even when very low indeed.

obviously their kit may not work well with scoobs but it taught me that suspension setup is so personal that any input you can get on how damper and spring rates are set is worth a lot. if like me you haven't got a huge r and d budget for your 3k runaround talking to an actual suspension designer at the factory is pretty helpful in that regard.

Not sure if many people would be in a position to spec a better build than a KW or Ohlin’s engineer, I for one wouldn’t know where to start!

If you want a really nice set up it's got to be a choice between Bilstein B16's and KW Clubsports. All IMO of course. Budget £2k
