engine steam cleaning

Default engine steam cleaning

i was just wondering if it is possible for me to have my engine steam cleaned in my turbo2000 classic impreza

its just that its all grotty from previous owner and i have a load of nice new bits to fit but dont want to fit them to a horrible dirty engine

im going to have mine done at roger clark motorsport so i would say yes it can be done

I did mine a few times with no probs.
Just bag up things like air filter, coil pack, battery and any electrical plugs etc. I just used tesco bags and insulation tape.
Spray some engine decreaser everywhere and allow to settle for a bit. Jet wash off sparingly and dry with a towel the best you can.

try using tin foil to cover alternator, coil packs etc it moulds nicely and
doesn't dislodge easily...
