Default Check engine

Just a quick one

Any idea why a check engine light would come on for no apparent reason then just go out. Done a ecu reset and got no error codes!

Any ideas??

Thanks

I had a check engine light come on in my car. The OBD diagnostic tool said camshaft position sensor. I changed this for a new one but it made no difference so I disconnected a multipug which was near the camshaft sensor and found it was full of water. A quick spray of WD 40 sorted it. Steve.
