Subaru DVDs
Having looked all over the place, I've come to the conclusion that there are very few DVDs about our favourite cars available.
Other than the 2011 TT lap:
http://www.dukevideo.com/prd4973/TT-...aru-Record-DVD
and this other early one from Duke Marketing:
http://www.dukevideo.com/prd3568/Subaru-Impreza-DVD
are there any others I should keep an eye out for please?
Thanks for any replies.

Has anyone seen this DVD from Japan please:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/WRC%E3%83%AC...er+Blue+subaru
I can order it quite easily, but in total it's going to cost me £40.55 and that's silly money if it's no good (yes, I am aware it's going to be in Japanese!)
As usual, thanks for any help.

Well it's on its way from Japan. I had to pay £40.63 for it as the exchange rate had changed slightly, and I've just got stung for a further £13.19 in VAT and import duty by DHL. For nearly fifty four quid, it had better be an astonishingly good DVD!
Once I've had a look at it, I'll report back.

It's available a bit cheaper here! http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview....EY=TDV-19217D#
Not sure if it's a trustworthy site though ofc.
Let us know if it's any good.. even in Japanese.

Thanks for the link. It was actually more expensive than Amazon JP when I checked it though, due to fluctuating exchange rates no doubt.
I've now had a chance to look at a bit of the DVD. All it took was five days to get here from Japan from when I ordered it - amazing.
As expected, all the commentary is in Japanese and sadly there's no subtitle options I can find, but when the drivers are being interviewed, they speak English with Japanese subtitles, so you can understand quite a bit of it.
The footage is good, all Subarus, and broken down into individual years from 1990 - 2008. There are rather a lot of crashes, but I suppose that's just what happened of course.
I'll post back some more when I've watched it all.
There is another DVD I've found which might be of interest:

This covers the 2006 season and I've a copy on the way. It sounds very promising and thankfully is in English this time.

You're quite right Josh, but it's for the same reason I like to have a book or a magazine in my hand rather than viewing them on a Kindle or tablet. It's the pleasure of owning a physical object rather than something that only exists in the electronic ether.
Mind you, my wife would be much happier from a shelving point of view if I only had them in an electronic form!

Nice idea, but hours of repetitive shots of the car sitting un-used in my garage might be marginally boring. I really ought to actually drive it occasionally!
