Default Parts for Stage 1 Map

I have a standard 2006 Hawkeye STI Type UK and just getting together parts for a Bob Rawle stage 1 mAP.

on order is an RCM fuel pump and Scorpion Red Power back box and de-cat centre section.

Can someone please suggest a suitable Sports cat down pipe that is 3" but narrows to 2.5" to meet the scorpion exhaust system. Seen a couple on ebay but want a good quality item.

Also, which is the better panel filter to go for, K&N or Cosworth?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Barry

personally I'd go for the cosworth filter! I have used japspeed dp on my previous scoob (type r) and was really happy with it!!

Hayward and Scott do a 3" to 2.5, great quality as you would expect from them. Not used either panel filter but can recommend Green Cotton ones.

My advice would be to speak to Bob, especially as he will be mapping it.

This^^^

And when he maps it, take your shoes off and drive in your socks. Makes it much easier to feather the thottle and keep the car steady at a set boost level.

Thanks for the replays, much appreciated.

Yeah, have already spoken to Bob, very helpful guy

Looks like the Ninja sports cat is a good option so will get that one for now.
