It very much depends on whether you go genuine, or OEM, and if you use a dealer/specialist/local garage but you will find anywhere between £250-£500 as a reasonable guide with a specialist. If you just replace the belt then somewhere like Scoobyclinic will be about £300, but if like me you need to replace the tensioner factor in about £120, and then £30+ for each idler pulley that also needs replaced (I unfortunately needed all four). This made for a slightly chunkier £550+ bill. Not necessarily the most useful of answers but it really depends on what needs replaced and how proper a job you want to do with it.

Er, pass. It's whatever Scoobyclinic use; IIRC they use better bearings in their pulleys than OEM?

get the kit from import car parts, all the same bearings the only companies that make them are NSK/RHP AND KOYO , and most of the belts are made by gates apart from the cosworth belts (kevlar) and i think the only uk company capable of making them are transmission developments in poole dorset, if you order from subaru you will get nsk bearings in a subaru box at double the price lol

Alyn - ASPerformance, with great information, cost (approx £200 for all the parts) & service, I got all the parts for my cambelt service from him.

Then went to a specialist 'Chevron Motorsport' to have the service!

Have been told by Mike L not to bother buying kevlar...it just wears the idlers etc quicker! He's had cars running 600bhp on gates & standard belts..
