Default advice needed

hi all
im looking to get a new exhaust with a nice sound to it for my wrx 2005 model. I want one in stainless and be able to pass an mot.

any suggestions?

where can I look for them mate what price do they go for?

Looking at just over a grand really mate. I have one on mine, awesome system. It's expensive, but expensive for a reason :-)

yeah true you pay for what you get.I was looking for cheaper really do me a favour look for this SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM item number 250844168048 and tell me what you think

Tbh, there are lots of folk on here that have no complaints with the ebay systems. This won't be MOT friendly though bud, you'll have to put your standard system back on come MOT time, unless you have a friendly mot tester

don't know a friendly tester what other systems are there what are on the cheaper side and will go through mot?

peedee do you know if a classic high type spoiler would fit on the 2005 model??

Really depends if you're after sound or power mate really. If you want power gains but want to keep it MOT friendly, full system with sports cat is really the only way to go (someone please correct me if I'm wrong!). If its just the sound you want, your options are pretty much limitless, there are tonnes of different cat back systems, or just get a different backbox

Ref. the spoiler question......I'm pretty sure it's a different fitment. Again, someone please correct me if I'm wrong!!

where I generally drive and the distance I go, the extra power would be wasted. ill have a look at some boxes. thank you for advice
