Default blob dash in a classic????????

have any of you guys fitted a blob dash in a classic???????.
just curious.
i know its been done in america.

part off the dash bar has to be cut(NOT CUT IN HALF JUST TRIMMED) in the centre to accommodate the heater matrix.

braveheart sti who is a good friend of mine is carrying out a we project for me,im only assisting when possible.dash is not complete yet as per photo but it appears to be coming together nicely

im sure big john will make it fit,its been done many times in the good old u.s of a.

the main reason for going this route was to retain the sti ecu as opposed to goin aftermarket,plan so far is to fit newage sti 8 wiring loom,(already fitted now)sti 8 engine,sti 6 speed box with twin plate clutch,kw coilovers,6 pot brakes,leather sl heated seats and dash(partly fitted)
most of these parts will be from my blob.

hi guys tbh theres far too much to list lol

we used a loom provided by mattey from another sti 8 , i also used the door looms etc from the newage and adapted most of the switchgear and all the lights etc to work , elecy windows etc all work as do the heater vents , still kept the ra quick rack but fitted a newage switchgear ie window wiper stalks etc to it

sti8 engine , avcs heads etc , arp's , cossie gaskets and a gt30 hybrid ( not a gt28 stevie )











the car still has a lot to go on such as the ally bonnet now painted 18l to memory the old blob ( rip )a flushed bootlid with lip spoiler again 18l , the roof is also being painted 18l as is the roof flap

spec : ( once finished of course )

revolution mileniums with kumho tyres
hi spec billet 6 pot fronts ( 365mm )
v5 sti ra v limited shell
350z orange with gold pearl paint and 18l bonnet roof and boot
c&c custom slip joint 3'' true exhaust
garret gt30 hybrid
hdi fmic core with classic pipework
arp head studs
rcm catch tank with return to sump
sytec fpr
