Question

Are the best.

CP5100
or
CP3326

Also the Largest disc that can be used for both running a Compomotive MO 15" wheel.

dingy, neither.

The 4-pot caliper is CP5200, the 6-pot CP5555. Are you trying to cobble together a kit from various bits? Please don't.

Get yourself a proper APR Impreza kit, complete with all the CORRECT components and fixtures.

Mike at mike@scoobymania.co.uk is very helpful, and aso are APR at sales@apracing.co.uk .

Richard.

That kit won't fit a MK II.

I have going with the CP336 as they are a works caliper and better than any of the 5xxx range. Running 315mm discs...

And brackets and Bells to fit a GRP IV MK II strutt.

Funny, but i have never seen a 15" Compomotive on a scoob.....

If it's a race spec calliper will you not be missing some bits like dust seals / anti squeal shims ?

Surely better to spend a bit more and get a set which are suitable for the road as well ?

(not that I have any idea about these two callipers of course) I would recommend the AP product information stuff though if you haven't already got it - found it pretty useful for the 5200 range.

dingy, advice is still the same. Ask APR for their recommendation. They do several Ford kits and will know for sure what's best for your car, even if they don't market a specific kit. Comments about dust seals etc are valid.

Thumbs up

Hi Dingy, Do I know you from somewhere ! lol

I have just fitted some 5200's to my mk6 I paid £500 for the pair new and can get some more if thats any use ? I have got 330's under a 16" wheel so they do hug the disc quite well !

Regards
Clint

Tis very hard to get Stuff from AP for my car.
Usually One off stuff which i can get done cheaper else where.
There Aren't any seals in the calipers but it doesn't make much difference.

As the car is often taken to bits.

Think i will go for the Works ones, as they are magnesium and have titanium pistons. Get rid of some weight there.
Going for 315 x32mm disc's

Having the bells and brackets made by Rally and Competition Equipement.

The Works Calipers are loads better than the 5200 according to AP.....
