Picked up a Type R :)
Woohoo! After drooling over it on here and eBay, I picked it up today
The guy really didn't want to see it go!
I'll get pics when it's clean cos I had a 415mile trip to get it home and now it's grimey.
Drives a little different to the UK wagon.....

Welcome to the real Subaru club.
These are a completely different drive, so take your time and get to know it or you'll be **** end into a hedge, best advice i would give is make sure you have good tyres and don't lift off the gas in the twisty bits apply the power progressively, unless you like spinning of course.
Enjoy.

Took my time to change my driving style from my 93 wrx to my 98 type R (and also new tyres and changing the alloys after a little 'incident' doh).
Agree with Kwik they do like being pushed on the B roads and the 'twisties'
I'm in the process of replacing/upgrading various suspension bits at the moment to make the car even better
Couple of worthwhile reads, imo, if you're unfamiliar about DCCD
