Picked up a Type R :)
Woohoo! After drooling over it on here and eBay, I picked it up today :luvlove:
The guy really didn't want to see it go! I'll get pics when it's clean cos I had a 415mile trip to get it home and now it's grimey. Drives a little different to the UK wagon..... |
Congratulations mate, enjoy it and get those pictures up ASAP

Welcome to the real Subaru club.:D
These are a completely different drive, so take your time and get to know it or you'll be arse end into a hedge, best advice i would give is make sure you have good tyres and don't lift off the gas in the twisty bits apply the power progressively, unless you like spinning of course.:lol1: Enjoy.:D |
best car i owned was my type r, i had an evo 6 ralliart at the same time and it wasn't a patch on the type r.
|
It took me a while to adapt to my Type-R, as they purely want to be driven on the edge all the time.
|
I want a Type R next :)
|
Took my time to change my driving style from my 93 wrx to my 98 type R (and also new tyres and changing the alloys after a little 'incident' doh).
Agree with Kwik they do like being pushed on the B roads and the 'twisties' I'm in the process of replacing/upgrading various suspension bits at the moment to make the car even better :) Couple of worthwhile reads, imo, if you're unfamiliar about DCCD https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...d-driving.html https://www.scoobynet.com/technical-...anslation.html |
