Rear brembo brake discs for MY05 impreza wrx
Hi guys and girls
I'm desperately trying to find rear brembo discs for my impreza but everywhere is out of stock. I'm after standard vented discs 290mm diameter and 18mm thick.
Can anyone help please ?!

Sorry for late reply. I can get standard discs from main dealer but at 80 for 1 disc I thought I would look about. I'm trying to keep my scooby standard but when I learned that the sti comes factory fitted with brembos I decided that fitting brembos (which i can get 2 for a little more in cost as for 1 from subaru)would be a slight upgrade.
I'm sorry to say that if I can't get brembo rear discs (I have managed to get the front discs) I will buy the discs from a subaru dealer

Your last comment reads that you have bought Sti Brembo discs, did you also get the Brembo calipers? As if you just have the disc's you will not fit them with your calipers, also you will need 17" alloys for clearence.

Sorry let me clarify.
They are NOT sti discs but are standard vented brembo discs (plus my05 wrx already has standard 17inch alloys on it).
What I meant by what I said was that if brembo is good enough to put on the sti then that's good enough for me. And if they fit them to the sti the probably have a contract with subaru to make the standard discs for them to sell as there own

You really dont want to buy discs from a main dealer unless you love throwing your money away, they charge like 500 quid for a pair of rear brembo discs on an STI, now is your car an STI or a WRX?
I would also go with buying off godspeed or AS performance which will be considerably cheaper than a main dealer

Mine is a wrx and it would have cost me £320 for all 4 from a main dealer, but I have got a front pair of brembo discs to fit mine for £80.
Just struggling to get the rear as everywhere is out of stock for brembo rear discs to fit mine.
I can go in halfords tomorrow and get a pair cheap to fit mine but I will only put brembos on or genuine subaru discs

Why? as long as the discs you fit are good quality then you wont have any problems, my front ones on my Spec C are from Godspeed, grooved and never had any issues with them, they replaced the pitted Brembo discs that lasted 20k miles (considering they should last 50-60k....) or if you want expensive but good then look at Performance friction discs but tbh, throwing your cash away on standard items.
You could try the brembo shop on ebay if you get desperate.

we are a Brembo agent and have never had 290mm std fit WRX rear discs............
presume from your post you put the HC spec front 294mm disc on but this is not an option for the rear unfortunatley
we supply a high quality alternative rear disc and have plenty of stock
