Default What year is my car

Hi all

Still getting my head around the Scooby world after only 2 weeks of ownership.

There have been a coup,e of minor bits and bobs I have ordered or wanted to get however have become a little confused.

I have a Hawk eye WRX on a 55 plate, however all trader and parts placed have the Hawkeye as a 2006 model onwards.

Date of registration for my car was 25/10/2005

Is this right am I safe where it states for a blob eye model in 2005??

Simples answer I expect

Cheers

Paul

As above look for 06/07 parts, When it comes to Suspension/Wheel parts make sure its WRX items you are looking at as STI bits wont fit due to having a different PCD on the wheels, You are one of the lucky ones with the cheaper tax as most are paying £450 a year

Subaru build their "new" cars late in the previous year hence you have a 2006 model but built late 2005..............

as above, manufacture is always ahead of date's, my old astra was a 2001 spec, but a picked it up in 2000. Short version is the factory options i chose ment it had to be built rather than taken from stock, so was fitted into the run when 2001 cars were beign made ready for march release
