Default Impreza P1 for sale... for £30k?!

http://www.thornhamcarsales.co.uk/us...01140420125806

Is a P1 really worth nearly £30k at this mileage? Surely this is more mint 22B kind of dorrah?

Imagine the monster of a car you could build for £30k

To me i'd say £10/12k max, if it looks like new.

They must be mistaking it for the 22B!
Just hope it's been properly mapped for UK fuel as those Brouquet (sic?) thingy's that were dangled in the tank to increase the octane, must be dead by now!

It is a very clean car, we gave it a full detail and then painted the front bumper along with adding a new original brand new p1splitter. It had a carbon jobbie fitted.

He's trying his luck with his price, but then it's not like he needs to sell it, and he does like a classic as does his dad, we've done a few of their rarer cars, his dads rolls, his Clio Williams, his Mini Cooper etc.

I bought my current car new for not much more than the price advertised there. But yes you could build something outrageous if you threw that kind of money at any clean car of any generation. Even a 1.5r estate lol.

I agree with these £10-15k prices I saw an absolute cracker at Graham Walker for £12k with a Brembo upgrade (some lovely alloys too) and around 60k on the clock about 18 months ago when I picked up my last car.

DB9 is a lovely car but I think you have to love them. Even if it does look the mutt's.

The M3 is quicker and much more involving to drive. And probably a bit easier to live with.

Didn't buy either though lol

This is the reply I got when I questioned the price and pointing out that a 22b can be had for less. His attitude says it all.

Hi,

Got a 22b but not for sale *we can ask what ever we want for our vehicle and still get serious enquiries at the price half the P1 owners club don't even own P1's and if they do they're clocked, bumped bodged up specials.
Now stop waisting my time its only a car got about 300 and more classics you can shake a stick at.

Regards
Matthew

Is it daddies money he is using? Nobody could have built up an empire with those manners.

Absolutely shocking.
