Towing subaru to the track
Hi there quick question was wanting to know if my scoob will be ok being towed by an A FRAME few people said it will **** the diff but all 4 wheels will be turning so dont see any problems? Just want some differnt opinions cheers.

Can't remember exactly why this isn't a good idea but something to do with the wheels shouldn't be going faster than 5mph for a period of time without the engine running???
This was from an AA man but he said he was an ex subaru mechanic! Was so sure that he sent for a truck to pick my car up when the immobiliser played up a few years ago.

So did any of these people offer a plausible explanation as to why not to tow using an A frame?
As far is i'm aware the only thing your not supposed to do is tow them with two wheels off the ground, and i can't see any reason why you would not be able to tow one at 60mph as long as all 4 wheels are on the ground and it's in neutral with the diff open if it has dccd, and don't forget to leave the key in and steering unlocked.
