Default New Member, Looking for first Subaru

Hello as the title says I'm looking for my first Subaru.

I'm currently driving a Fiesta ST but in looking or something with more power and more grip.

Basically I'm looking to spend around 7000-8000, but I could stretch my budget for a mint example. For this sort of price range Im looking at the 05 reg sort of cars (blobeye is it?) or a hawkeye on sort of an 06.

I'm looking for some guidance as to what are the pros an cons of each?

I'm fairly certain I'll be after the WRX STi or is there a better model for your money to go for?

Thanks in advanced

Adam

There is a nice 500hp one for sale atm about 9k on ebay iirc.

If your getting a newage one (hawk etc) try go for the jdm twin scroll 2.0 engine rather than the 2.5

Thanks but why would you choose the twin scroll? I'm new to the world of subarus and turbos

And why do people seem to prefer the 2.0 to the 2.5?

The jdm twin scroll doesn't have the reliability issues of the 2.5

All depends what you are going to use it for
