It depends that are you after bolt on mods or are you willing to spend lots of pounds on it and take the engine apart?

I have tuned some n/a Alfa's in the past and custom made exhaust headers and decat gave better throttle response and relatively pretty good hp gains nut they were 3,2 lumps.

Could swapping an svx engine be an option for you?

Pretty sure Scoobyclinic do N/A remaps, but you won't get a great deal out of it, perhaps more throttle response. Only one way to find out really!

In my expieriences remap on n/a car is a waste of money unless you have done cylindrer head tuning, better cams and headers with full decatted exhaust before.

Is it possible to bolt JDM STI's avcs heads to n/a impreza? Maybe some one with more experience could tell? Have you consulted any professionals yet?

I have this feeling that nitrous without forged internals can not be any good

Take off the inlet manifold and fit a pair of carbs on a custom inlet manifold for either side of the engine.
A Subaru engine on carbs would be awesome to see and hear.!
