Default Shall i swap my golf for this ?

Would like your opinions guys please, i got rid of my scooby 3 week ago for my golf below and regret it big time.
So i have a chance to swap for this mica blue uk 97 model below.
Do u think i should go for it or hold out for a better modded one, this scoob is totally standard but no rust on arches bodywork seems good aswell. scoob has plenty of stamps 135000 miles mot oct and tax feb.
spec on golf is 1.8 turbo/remapped/decat militek exhaust/coilovers/131000 miles mot oct and tax till june.
do u think there of equal value ?

The standard scooby

All comes down to a matter of the spec of the Scoob and the mechanicals really.

If there are plenty of stamps are they from reputable places that know Scoobs. If they are then get on the phone to them and ask if they know the car at all... that can be very imformative from my experience.

Need more details of the Scoob though so people can advise better. My gut would say the golf would be worth more especially if you sold those (expensive) rims seperatley and put the stock ones back on so it will appeal to the masses. A scoob will only ever be valuable to Scoob owners and there are PLENTY to choose from in better spec/colour IMO.

Golfs a good looking car
Your old subaru looked great
The one for sale would be very cheap to buy and looks reasonably unmolested which is rare

Definitely hold on to the golf and wait for a better one, you could try swapping it for your old one! Never know! Worth a punt!
