Default Any ideas??? Check Engine Light

Got a 98 type r v4, just got the car out today after being parked for 2 months and I have the check engine light on??? It started fine didn't drive it far or rev it hard, but its sounds ok. I know my speedo sensor needs replacing but apart from that everything was all fine before it was parked up. Any ideas???

Checking for fault codes stored in the ECU would be the first thing to do.

Almost certainly due to the speedo sensor problem. It will probably also be in limp mode until that's fixed. Had the same issue when my speedo converter broke on my STi 4.
