other than ordering from the internet i struggle to get hold of 10-50 fully syth locally unless i do a half and half trip to the clinic that is

does anyone one run a 10-60 fully syth in theres i can get castrol 10-60 anywhere im not that up on oils but i went into my local motor factors the other day and there oil book suggests 5-30 that to me sounds too thin.

the cars a 2.5 coverted classic running close to 400 bhp

I'd opt for the 10 50 personally. The 60 is a bit thick for normal road use, although it will quieten a noisy engine.

I use Motul 300v 10-50 oil in mine, ring Alyn at AS Performance and he will do a good price.
