I know this should be in the Wheels section but I need some advice before 830am

I got some Brembo front pads, took them to a high street chain to be put in.
They put them in and I was watching most of it and it looked like a good job.
One of the drivers side pins was tuff but they knocked it out and everything went back together.
The guy said that the brake pedal might feel abit 'wooly' but would get better down the road. So, off I went.
When he said 'wooly' he should have said ' most non existent until you pump the pedal four times!'
Then I notice there's a steering wobble going on whilst driving and worse when braking?
I turned back but they had closed as it was 555pm when they had finished(kind of finished)
So, I took off the wheels at home and made sure the nuts were on tight but they were ok..not mega tight but not loose.
So I'm taking it back in at 830am but was wondering if anyone's got any ideas on what's gone wrong?
It was driving sweet as a nut when i took it in there!

Could be the pads sticking in the calipers. Possibly need to take the pads out and clean the paint off the ends of the pads where they touch the caliper. Give the contact areas in the caliper a clean aswell.

Just hoping that one if pistons isn't stuck and warped the discs? Read that on a forum once

Wish I'd just waited and gone to my usual mechanic mate...damn it!

They pushed the pistons back a little to far. Just keep the brake peddle pushed down over night with a weight. This should push the pistons back past the seals again.

Tried keeping the peddle pushed down with a large rock and it worked but the brake lights stayed on even with car locked! Would end up with no battery and I got work at 10am...hope the place can sort it!

When the brake isn't on...I can wiggle the driver side pad back and forth at the top..?
The wife put the brake on and I couldn't but as soon as foot off..it wiggled again?
The passenger side didn't wiggle in either situation...
Could this make the brakes soft and steering wobble?

Heyup guys ....
Thanks for all the replies...
I tried the 'weight on the brake' idea but didn't realise it kept my brake light on for about 2hrs before I twigged it! Ended up flat battery..lol had to jump it! Ha.

Anyways, took it back in and they had a good look and poke around and we realised that there was a massive build up of rust...it was bad in a ring around the disc but that wasn't it...
On the drivers side...the disc didn't seem to be flush against the hub...so they took it off...it was full of rust! They scrapped it all off and the disc was fine just couldn't sit flush...it went back on tight and everything worked perfect straight away!!!!
Brake feel back, no wobble...perfect!
So it wasn't their fault to be fair and they were great..and they sorted it for free! Mainly because one of the lads is the little bro of my mate...
Anyways, I'll look out for those symptoms in the future!

Glad its fixed.

The high st. chains have a knack of making things worse - best avoided. Often due to a lack of training.

Yeah...I couldn't find the rear lights fuse? Found the front ones under hood but no back light fuses?
Thanks for the advice though guys...it was much appreciated, especially after I'd read horror stories on the net...lol
