Noob from canada eh! lol just picked up a 95 wrx 555
Hey guys, I'm a newbie to the site. I just picked up my first RHD 96 Subaru WRX STI RA v-limited 555 and just wondering what aftermarket options I have all performance shops tell me the skys the limit with these car but cant seem to find parts or info online so i thought i would check this site out. The shops around here are just trying to get me to go there but i like doing my own builds, i just have no idea where to start with these cars. I just finished building a 2008 dodge ram 2500 twin turbo twin injection 800rwhp 6.7 cummins diesel but i use it for work and i just got it where its reliable power, basically I just want a fast fun little summer toy looking for cold air, Turbo options, exhaust, ext.

I don't know about the sky being the limit, the engines ARE tunable, but NOT that strong, and if you get it wrong, big bills follow...and I DON'T mean ducks.
First off, get used to the car. Then start by looking at braking and handling mods. Contrary to most North American ideas, these cars ARE built to go round corners....and will do it even better with a few inexpensive tweaks.
Ditto the braking, it CAN be improved.
Once you have done that, it's a case of what do you want and how much are you willing to spend.
But DO be careful: do your research properly, take note of what trusted tuners tell you and ignore people who say things like, "Do it mate, I would, it worked on my RS Turbo..." etc etc, because THEY won't be paying the rebuild costs if it ends in tears.

Alright I'll look into that thanks for the info! Its a rally car in my eye's I dont want to build something that goes fast in a straight line i have my truck for that lol I dont want Crazy amounts of power, but i do want it to be a little quicker then others and i've seen some on youtube that have a nice growl to them. The car is a beast as it is,but i was thinking cold air intake, exhaust, aftermarket turbo probably minor fuel upgrade to compensate for the air
