can these panels still be bought ? Its a t reg uk turbo 2000,we are repairing the front bumper but when we removed it half of that support bar/rail was fecked ! Not sure if its mainstealer only but a good copy would be ideal.thanks carl.

The new part is very cheap from the dealer. I think I paid £27 albeit it was 4 years now, but it won't have gone up that much.

I've got a 99 V reg, and when I took the bumper off, it seems ok. I've seen some on here where they are completely rusted through.

It also depends where the car lives: mine lived all it's life here, and is hardly touched by rust, Andy's came from the seaside, and was mostly rust.
