Just recently has an issue with the key fob working intermittently for a few days. I changed the battery & has been fine until tonight and same issue happened.

Anyone any ideas what could be wrong. I have a spare so will be using that for time being.

I find they don't work well if you're too close to the car sometimes.

 

Mine has done the same thing. I changed the batteries about a month ago and all was fine. But last couple of days it take a few presses to unlock the car and today the other half couldnt reset the imobiliser so i had to run the spare fob out to her. She was not happy. Its the first time ive heard her swear about the car.

 

Did try different distances, I have found mine works better up close

 

Is it troublesome all the time or just certain locations? could be radio interference?
