Default genuine uk300 or not?

just spotted this on ebay

2001 SUBARU IMPREZA WRX UK 300 PRODRIVE

Right wheels and right spoiler but... no front splitter, no uk300 decals, wrong headlights (indicators give it away), wrong side markers, no mention of what number out of the 300 is is.

A bit of a high price as possible engine damage and won't drive?

Very optimistic considering I paid about that for my genuine uk300 with ppp in good original condition and 30k less miles than this one. Have asked the seller what number it is, wonder if I'll get a reply?

Why would you want it then? I would just stay well clear mate to be honest. He "thinks" its due to cam belt failure... well could be bloody anything then :-D

Oh I don't want it... I was really just pointing out that perhaps it's not quite as advertised

I've seen them up for anything between £2k (shed) and £7k (50k, fsh, immaculate... overpriced!) but I don't think realistically they command that much of a premium, probably 15-20% on the price of a similar condition standard WRX. After all, the extra Prodrive bits are mostly cosmetic and not exclusive to the edition. I still love mine though

I asked him the same question, wondering if I should ask him about the bits that aren't right, but then there's no point being Antagonistic.
