I try them every year but a plan seem to give me good renewal but will no doubt give them a chance this year, sky were miles away for me at least 50% more than my renewal last year. Seems strange how different companies can get such different results with each persons circumstances.

I been with Gary now for 2 years, and in April will probably go with them again if the quotes are anything like the past 2 years.
Quotes have not gone down, up slightly but what do you expect in this current climate, I have recommended Gary and the guys at keith Michaels a couple of times and they have all been happy with the quotes..

We are careful in our underwriting (ie a bit picky as to who we'll insure), which means our claim stats are very good.
Therefore we're able to remain competitive year after year. (unlike some companies who'll write any business at cheap prices for a year or two, then double their prices and move onto different markets)

Yes, that should be fine, assuming you meet the criteria we look for. (postcode, miles per year, where the vehicle is kept, etc..)
Anyone ringing for a quote, please remember to ask for me.
We offer a whole range of insurance policies, but if you don't ask for me you might speak to someone who specialises in commercial vehicles/fleets/taxis etc, rather than performance or modified cars, and therefore get a different price/policy than what i can do. (vice versa, if you need a quote for a fleet don't ask for me, as i'll have no idea!)

Very noble of you advising of those, don't think I would have even thought about something like that. Luckily I only have 2 mods and both are declared with my policy, exhaust and uk remap being only mods at present. Can't believe something like that would cause a policy cancellation. Proves how bad mainstream insurers are.

Thing is they didn't even know what a b-pillar was when I called then to inform them!!! They then proceeded to charge me a £50 cancellation charge, which I diplomatically and professionally disputed as they had cancelled the insurance and not me...and they refunded the £50 with an apology to their credit at least.
Gary I will contact you when the time comes thanks.

Scooby Senior
So Mr Moley, KM would not offer me insurance - aged 45 with 18 years NCB as I had not owned/had the Scoob for 2 years - even though I have owned high performance cars including Scoobs in the past - just not in the last 2 years before the current Impreza as I was lucky enough to be provided with company cars in the last 3 years. I did however get insurance with Sky. I will have had the car for 18 months in November 2013 when my insurance is due for renewal. Would you consider me then for insurance? The reason I have 18 months is Admiral cancelled mine after 6 months because I added some carbon fibre wing mirror covers & B-pillar covers to the Scoob and I advised them of these "modifications" as a good customer should, however they said that as I had now more than 5 modifications on the car I was higher risk and could no longer insure me!! So I called Sky who were happy to insure me. Sorry for the long story
that's the funniest thing I've read in ages
How do you now go on when you're asked if you've had insurance declined?
anyway.. Gary @KM very ggo with me this year too.. £40 cheaper than last year
Just need to ring tomorrow and pay for it
